The app is fantastic for all the idioms you could ever want to know. My only suggestion is that the example of use also be in Spanish.

This app explains how slang is used in Costa Rica, but all the example sentences are in English. If you already know Spanish really well this app could help you understand how Costa Ricans use words differently and how they would use those words if they spoke English.

If you click on the Costa Rican flag it gives you everything in Spanish. I would rather see the Spanish first and not have to click because it takes too long for the page to switch. But the app has good information.

This has become an often used tool while navigating the idiosyncrasies of Costa Rican conversation. Thanks!

I love the fact that my countrys idioms are accessed through an application. One suggestion I would like to offer is to provide an example in Spanish of how the words/expressions are used, so that foreigners can see how to apply them in a practical way.

Interesting app helps you feel like a native and its always improving.

Not a reference tool without search ability and still needs more content, but its an enjoyable and useful tour of some of the many wonderful tiquismos tourists or expats are likely to encounter.

Really easy to use and actually helped. Fun as car trivia on those bumpy Costa Rican roads too. :)

I like it! Still like it. Wish it would quit bugging me for reviews every time I start it. Still bugging me for reviews every time I open it. One less star until this annoyance is fixed. Yet another review to hopefully turn off the chime, Finally!!! It no longer asks for a rating every time I open the app. Thank you. I am using the app more often and enjoying it much more.

As someone who lived in Costa Rica for a brief time, a lot of these words/sayings brought a smile to my face. This is a great reference for anyone visiting. Super helpful and great design!
